Come learn about sea stars and other amazing creatures found along the coast. Meet the author, have your copy of Let's Explore the Beach! signed (available in the store), and make your own clay sea star to take home with you!

Wings over Whidbey is a one-day community birding festival held by the Whidbey Audubon Society. It will include educational and informational presentations, guided birding and prairie tours, readings by two children’s book authors (including me!), a youth bird drawing class, and a scavenger hunt with lots of exciting things to discover.

Come enjoy a fun day in Seaside and pick up a copy of Let's Explore the Beach! to use while you're at the coast. Author/photographer Karen DeWitz will be signing books in the store from 1 to 3 PM

I'm so excited to partner with this wonderful, brand-new bookstore for a family-friendly event good for kids of all ages (and their grown-ups).

Come see me at the Drumlin (just down from Ridgecrest Books) on Sunday April 14th at 2pm. We will learn about amazing intertidal creatures and finish with a fun craft for kids! 

The Oregon City Woman's Club will kick off their summer with a slideshow presentation about Let's Explore the Beach! They will have the opportunity to ask questions of the author/photographer and buy copies to have signed through White Rabbit Books.
